EMD is founded as a repair service provider. Main activity is repair of endoscopic optics, endoscopic and surgical instruments. 2001. We launch our laparoscopic system as the first own product development. 2005. EMD steps out of being a local supplier and starts export activities in various markets. EMD begins to develop and produce neurosurgery devices. 2012. EMD relocates to new headquarters with more on site facilities. Company profile continues to expand. 2017. The company obtains CE approval for own neurosurgical and laparoscopy development. 2021. Product portfolio is further increased by six additional EMD product group receiving CE mark.
